Slab on grade foundation repair in the Dallas Fort Worth area is an extremely important building maintenance task. When concrete slab foundation movement and settlement is ignored it always results in damage to the concrete at a minimum and potentially damages the structure, and machinery, or causes injury.

We take slab on grade foundation repairs very seriously and in instances where interior non-structural concrete slabs have moved or settled we can often lift them back into place with our polyurethane foam concrete raising methods spec to whatever the needs of the concrete slab and its commercial environment are.

For slab on grade foundation slabs that are considered structural, meaning they support the building itself, often we recommend engineering plans stating the requirements of the concrete repair as far as the required compression strength, injection depth, and whatever other requirements the repair may require.

After we know the requirements for a given concrete slab we can plan the repair and execute it. Most repairs are simple and require a small hole drilled several places across a concrete slab to inject a polyurethane foam that cures within a few short minutes allowing you to put the slab into service again very fast compared to replacement.

On more complex repairs, we may be required to inject foam at different depths to strengthen the weak soil structure that causes the slab foundation to move in the first place, then after that is complete, raise the concrete slab back into its original position.
